Where are the proceeds of the Ragin' Cajuns Fan Fest Online Auction allocated to?

The proceeds assist the Louisiana Athletics Department with community engagement initiatives and enhancing the student-athlete experience. Louisiana Athletics relies on the generous support of donors like you to support each of our 16 sport programs and 400+ student–athletes to the highest degree and provide them with the resources needed to succeed. 

How can I support the Louisiana Athletics Department through the Fan Fest?

Participating in our online auction will help all Ragin' Cajuns programs as they continue to climb to new heights. If you are not interested in bidding on any items within the online auction, you can make a 100% tax deductible gift through the "Donate to RCAF" button on the auction webpage. Additionally, you can support our fall sports by tuning in to our Facebook Lives with Coach Gray, Coach Key, Coach Napier and Dr. Bryan Maggard as they talk about the excitement and momentum going into the fall!

When will the online auction be available?

The auction will be accessible from Wednesday, August 4 until Friday, August 13 at 12:00 pm.

How do I access the online auction?

Click here to access the online auction. Here you can view the items. To begin bidding, click "Get Started" at the top of the page and create your account. If you participated in any online auctions for the Alumni Association (Spring Gala or Celebration) or the College of Arts Beaux Ball, you can sign in with the same information.

What kind of technology will I need to be able to access the online auction?

The online auction will be accessible by utilizing a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, desktop or smart television that is connected to Wi-Fi or a secured internet connection. Read more about online bidding here.

Once I receive the link to the online auction, what's next?

Once the online auction link is clicked, all available packages will be visible. Before you can place any bids, you must create an account in Greater Giving. After you enter your email address you will be asked to complete your account by clicking a link in the confirmation email and then enter your contact info and credit card details.

Greater Giving is the online auction platform used to conduct the online auction.

Once my account is created, what do I do next?

Geaux bid! You are now free to return to the list of packages and begin bidding.

Do I have payment method options?

When creating your profile, you will be prompted to enter your credit card information. Being that the auction is online this year, the preferred method of payment will be by credit/debit card.

How will I be notified if I am outbid on an item?

When you create your Greater Giving account, you will be asked to provide both an email address as well as a phone number. Please be sure to list accurate information in those categories that you check or have access to often to ensure that you receive the notifications.

How will I receive the auction item(s) that I win?

The best time to pick up your items will be during the open practice at Cajun Field on Sunday, August 15 from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Gates will open at 5:00 pm. If you are unable to pick them up during the event, items will be located at the Cox Communications Building (201 Reinhardt Drive) between 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday-Thursday and Fridays from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm. You must schedule a pick up time in advance by emailing geauxcajuns@louisiana.edu. If you are unable to physically pick up your item, the item can be mailed to you, but it will be your responsibility to cover the cost of shipping.
