Where are the proceeds of the Alumni Association Celebration allocated to?

The proceeds assist the Alumni Association with execution of Alumni engagement initiatives as well as Alumni Center facility improvements.

How can I support the UL Lafayette Alumni Association through this celebration?

When will the online auction be available?

The auction will be accessible from Monday, May 3 until Wednesday, May 12 at 10 am.

How do I access the online auction?

Click here to access the online auction. Here you can view the items. To begin bidding, click "Start Bidding" at the top of the page and create your account. If you participated in the online auction for the 2020 Spring Gala, you can sign in with the same information.

What kind of technology will I need to be able to access the online auction?

The online auction will be accessible by utilizing a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, desktop or smart television that is connected to Wi-Fi or a secured internet connection. Read more about online bidding here.

Once I receive the link to the online auction, what's next?

Once the online auction link is clicked, all available packages will be visible. Before you can place any bids, you must create an account in Greater Giving. After you enter your email address you will be asked to complete your account by clicking a link in the confirmation email and then enter your contact info and credit card details.

What is Greater Giving?

Greater Giving is the online auction platform used to conduct the online auction.

Once my account is created, what do I do next?

You are now free to return to the list of packages and begin bidding.

Do I have payment method options?

When creating your profile, you will be prompted to enter your credit card information. Being that the auction is online this year, the preferred method of payment will be by credit/debit card.

How will I be notified if I am outbid on an item?

When you create your Greater Giving account, you will be asked to provide both an email address as well as a phone number. Please be sure to list accurate information in those categories that you check or have access to often to ensure that you receive the notifications.

How many items will be featured in the online auction?

Thanks to the generous donations of many supporters and local establishments, there will be over 100 packages to choose from as well as several “Live Auction” packages.

How will I receive the auction item(s) that I win?

All auction items will be available for pick-up at the Alumni Center beginning on Tuesday, May 18 between 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday-Thursday and Fridays from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm. If you are unable to physically pick up your item at the Alumni Center, the item can be mailed to you, but it will be your responsibility to cover the cost of shipping.
